Hi! I'm Austin
I'm a filmmaker and musician born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. I'm a student at Loyola Marymount School of Film & Television set to graduatin May 2025, and pursues freelance work as a music videographer in his spare time. Austin is passionate about capturing the spirit of fellow musical artists in cinematic fashion.
Where Cinema and Music Meet
Background
Austin has studied film since high school and has always had a keen interest for visually arresting storytelling. While at school for the past 8 years, he has also been the principal songwriter and guitarist/vocalist of rock band "Tenscore". Earlier in his college career, he gained part-time job experience as a sound tech for the Whisky A Go-Go (where he now primarily shoots) and as a camera operator for collegiate level live sports broadcasts.
Cinema
Over his time at LMU, Austin has worked on over 20 student film sets and has gained experience as a Director, DP, and Colorist. He looks forward to directing his final thesis film at LMU in the Spring of 2025.
Music
An accomplished musician in his own right, Austin has been dedicated to the guitar for the past 10 years. He has written over 30 original songs with his bandmates, and has been a self-taught producer/engineer for the past six years.
